LOL, last week i got my redmi from a fellow dimer here who ordered for me on COD at no additional cost. this time i want it for a friend of mine who is desperate to get it so i posted my interest without any premium.

Please make sure you’ve gone though previous posts about the Redmi 1S’s ‘issues’, don’t place an order if you’re likely to cancel it. Personally I think it’s a great phone for the price (my Mom is using it without any issues), but those critical posts did cause a lot of people to cancel orders.

@Everyone else: Hope you get your Redmi 1S in giveaways soon, or else post a request in the Dost & Dimes section before next Tuesday if you want someone to help you. That way there will be more units in giveaways. If I’m free, I’ll try from my Mom’s flipkart account next time if anyone wants me to.

How I added it to cart today: Didn’t use any script/ auto-clicker/ plugin etc, just made sure I had a clock synced with GMT+5:30 (used a GPS time sync app) and refreshed the page till I made sure the countdown timer was in sync with it. Flipkart’s countdown timer might stray off the correct time, making your ‘Buy now’ button appear late.
The rest is just all about fastest finger first. Keep your mouse pointer on the upper edge of the text that says “Sale starts in”, that’s where the center of the ‘Buy now’ button appears. You can check youtube videos to see the exact position.
My internet connection wasn’t particularly fast. Ping time for Flipkart.com was 120ms, down 1.2Mbps, up 200kbps.

Of course, all this might be entirely useless, it might just be pure dumb luck. You could also try traveling near the speed of light if possible, to slow down time.
