I’ve never returned an item on amazon previously, so I have a pickup scheduled tomorrow for shoes. The shoes came in a box with polythene amazon packing. How should I return it? Should I just return the box or put it in the polythene cover and tape it? Thanks in advance.

Just put in the box and put the box in polythene, no need to tape it as the pick up guy will check the shoes.

I cut the polythene on one side, is that ok. Also what about the bill should I return it too?

There is no need to include any invoices, return slips or to re-seal the return packaging.

Once they collected it back from you, they will deal with it at their sorting office. And that is convenient for them.

Amazon should have documented this return instructions clearly on their website, but does not provide these instructions there and there is a lot of confusion regarding the same.
