Amazon worst experience - beware flipkart is getting better Nowadays

I have placed order for dining table (white 6 seater)
after 3-4 follow-ups for delivery I recvd delivery and see that it was 4 seater and dark walnut

now I contacted amaozn CC they are saying only refund on return
although product page clearly shows replacement and item is in stock and deliverable to my address with same seller
but they r refusing for replacement and saying only refund on return

but I waited for 10 days to get this delivered
and followed up 10-20 hrs over chat or call with support
escalated to manger level but still same?

any option of highest escalation or how to go legally with consumer court??

We can’t do anything. It is decided by system not by CC agent. It may be due to different seller also size of material.

You should be glad that you’re able to return it and get the refund. People are scared to request returns on Flipkart.

True… I placed a return request and my account was banned… Then I write to cc, they unban and a technical person comes and checks the device… He says it’s working and rejects my return. pensive

Nothing will work
They might’ve added this restriction because of it being a large package and the fact that you got a different product (If there’s some mixup with product ASIN, then there’s no point in shipping the same wrong product)

I have lost that account later, due to multiple returns/cancellation. Irony is I asked only for single return that too was rejected. Other all orders were cancelled by Flipkart/seller.

Even I faced similar issue with washing machine and I lost all the cashback benefits due to only refund option pensive

You got the return approved after service technician tested and verifies it right?

Eitherways i would prefer to visit service centre for mobiles instead of opting for returns/replacements

No the return was rejected as at the time the technician came, the phone did not heat up…

Well, I had a very bad experience for replacement of my redmi phone at service centre… It took them 3 weeks to do that… So I prefer Amazon/Flipkart return

FK/Jeeves, they will never approve returns/replacements of mobiles based on heating issues unless it is way too extreme like 50c+ even when the phone is kept idle
They even don’t approve one on basis of light/screen bleed because they can’t understand it
Its not worth it..trying to get a replacement/refund in these days. The only thing that has higher probability of happening is the account getting blanned/flagged

On the other hand, u can get the return/replacement approved just by convincing the support chat executive (they can approve directly even without scheduling a technician visit)

Fk is far better no questions asked on return of heater , here in my case even Amazon is at fault they re not even caring

you could have simply placed return request with the reason…Different story if you want things to be done ASAP
