Forget about bass on TWS (minus few costly options)
For iOS, Airpods pro is the best (Spatial Audio*) but then its way out of your budget
@ 1-3k, Bullets wireless Z/bass , Oppo M31 & Realme wireless pro (LDAC+ANC) are decent options

No idea about Infinity/JBL but I’ve used both OnePlus Buds and the Z variant for a reasonable amount of time and these aren’t the ones you should be getting for extra bass. While Buds Z has an edge over the original buds due to better noise isolation but still I don’t think it is worth recommending
The one TWS w/ decent bass is Sennheiser momentum TWS (1/2) @ ~10k (does have low latency mode too) but these might turn out to be very uncomfortable depending on your ear size
Also based on my experience with TWS from various brands, all of them have lesser range in comparison with the neckband type

You feel more bass when there’s less sound leakage .. which is most definitely not the case with OP Buds
+ This is Fake Atmos (According to Oneplus, both Buds (5k) & Buds Z (3k) has Atmos support for OnePlus 7/8 series only)
Whatever difference its gonna be w/ “Dolby Atmos ON”.. it will be limited. Its possible that OP has fine tuned the TWS to work with your device (OP 7/8) but i wouldn’t bet much on it
( Latest iPhones do have Atmos Support but its doubtful if there will be any improvements using these TWS with iPhones/iOS
https://developer.dolby.com/platforms/apple/ios... )

OP Buds/Z support only AAC/SBC which means the max bitrate it can passthrough / via transcoding will be limited to 320Kbps
Even according to dolby standards, 384-784 kbps is the standard encoded bitrate for Dolby Atmos Audio (Lossless) but till date i haven’t seen any Atmos stream w/ less than 784 kbps bitrate. Its possible that in future it might be possible w/ codecs like aptX HD/LDAC but we aren’t there yet (the best any TWS can support as of now is aptX)
https://developer.dolby.com/technology/dolby-au...

Like i said above, the decent wireless earphones (neckband type*) i’ve tried are Bullets wireless Z / Bass Edition, Oppo M31, Realme Wireless/Pro

This was 8-9K last sale (Bank discount + 3K CB)
Although the sound quality is very good with this one (+ bass).. this is a very wide TWS, your ears might start paining within 1-2hrs of usage (depending on the the ear canal size)
Also V1 has got some bugs (Fixed with V2 @ 20k) like the earbuds (left/right or both) still being connected to the devices even inside the charging case + rapid discharge of one/both earbuds
Edit: No Fast charging unlike OnePlus TWS.. takes very long time to charge buds/case

Not a bad option but do consider the above things if you decide to get this one (Some of the above said bugs can be prevented if you switch-off earphones every single time via SmartControl App)

This creative TWS was a very good deal [email protected] 1.6k, was in stock for about a minute
