Any trick/ way to keep second sim active without recharging ₹49 every month?

You need to recharge bro but I can tell What you can do to get
230 days Validity For ₹150

Here is What I did For Airtel :-

(1) Recharged With ₹100 (Got 28 days Validity , ₹81 TT, ₹50 Amazon CB)
(2) After 28 Days Again Recharge With ₹100 ( TT – 162)
(3) Repeat This Process 1 more time

( TT – 243)

Now You have talk time of ₹243 and after expiry of your 3rd ₹100 recharge validity ₹45 will automatically deduct (If You don’t want any other pack)

So From 243 Talk time you can do this 5 times Which Makes Another 140 days to Validity.

I too have chortel sim cards and i only recharge once in 3 months to keep it active so that they don’t auto disconnect that sim.But if you need incoming calls on those then you will have to recharge.

I need to do the same for voda, need to keep incoming active on my mother’s sim. I noticed there’s a 78 Caller tunes plan or something which supposedly provides 89 days validity, is this an unconditional 89-day validity plan for real? If anyone is using this plan please confirm.

Fir bsnl 74 rchg is only option?

i have a chortel sim , its balance is -1 since last 6 month and they dont cancel it , if wanted incoming and otp i recahrge with that 40-50 one

just tried today on voda
recharged with top up they won’t extend validity like airtel.
Also no option of recharging pack using that main balance also. Total waste
Recharged again for 96rs for 56days pack.
I had 2 days left of my previous pack but they started new pack validity. They don’t combine these packs.

Same goes for airtel
It also never combines these small packs.
If you have 5days left and you recharged with 49 then it will start fresh and show 27 days left.

we need to compare and findout best company and pack for just to keep sim alive.
Right now I see 100rs for 84days airtel top up best. Also I have jio but don’t know when they will stop incoming if I don’t recharge.

Suggest some if you know better deal.

Airtel and bsnl to retain its customer base have these auto renewal plans available. All its needed is core talk time amount. So I use the direct talk time plan.

in airtel app => all packs => talk time => ₹500 plan get talk time of ₹480.

Load it once and forget. Auto deduction will happen each month of ₹45.

What happens if you don’t renew?
during lockdown there was a moratorium not to terminate sims for non renewal. But that’s over so you will be forced to buy post paid with a lock-in period if you want your number back.

If it’s an idle sim right now best time to take it off your bank OTP, adhar verification and other important notifications.

1 more problem too. The Sim has to be used every 6 months or the number is disconnected even though you have active talk time. Hope some with that knowledge can elaborate.

I usually recharge 79 smart pack and get 64 TT. For 28 days Validity

So no workaround till now?

@Vaastav I have to recharge 100rs three times subsequently = 300 (not considering Amazon cb) for which I get 243 TT. I’d get 224 days validity ( 28+28+28+140). So Rs.300= 224 days validity??
