old card expired and im unable to get the new card due to address issue. they are asking to upload new address proof so as to deliver. and unable to update the address due to covid. and now they have charged the as usual annual fees 499 + 89.82.
anyway possible to to get the reversal?
Had same issue, newer got replacement card and they kept charging me annual fee and late payment charges on that
Complaint on twitter handle of SBI.
First you need to get the card.. unless you don’t need the card ask them to cancel and reverse annual fees. And if you want the card then they are going to charge the annual fees. That’s not going to happen that they reverse the annual fees and after some time you got the card without annual fees.

Registered written complaint to branch
And multiple complaints from sbicard portal and follow-ups via email
After that they sent me head branch of the city where all card matters are looked upon
And one officer took my expired cards, did some magic in his system and i got sms of fees waived off instantly

complaint on sbi card app, then escalate it to higher levels. they will waive off or at least partial wave off

Took photocopy of that
2. Raise complain online via sbicard portal or grievance, i did latter as i was not having card number so no login
3. Attach complain screenshot of step 1 in online complain
4. Follow up branch and online
5. Finally they gave up and sent me to main branch of the city
6. Officer from sbi card tool my expired card, fetched my details and did few things in his system

soo much work and time for 590 rs.? 
SBI card is not issued by the bank but by a separate NBFC. This often leads to problems. The reason why I never accept any offer for SBI card.
