Axis bank Credit card details leaked - suspicious activity

Stop international transactions. As earlier people also warned of such kind of scams..you were lucky as it asked CVV.. because some international website doesn't need CVV.

many users reported this. Turn off international  transaction use only when needed. 

After locking card when you unlock it, international transactions turns on by default . So do check it if you use the card lock feature.

hmm just wondering , so if this card details got exposed in axis side why not instead of keeping our international transaction switched off, lets get a new card:) i mean a replacement card that way the new credit card number is not yet exposed (until another data breach on axis side)

so better get a new card:) i mean replacement card by blocking your current CC:) then you can avoid this hazzle of switching on and off on your international tranactions:) with new credit card number

just get a replacement card and your are good to go:)

I had similar issue but amount got debited from citi card.

Report the issue, you will be given new card.

Happened for me too. Someone tried to attempt on few sites, Daily received 15-20 sms. Later I replaced the card
