I did the math in the next 6 months switching to EV cc for fuel is not worth it anymore when the ticket size is double what we use to pay 2-3 years ago. Spending more not necessarily saves you money in this case.
Hopefully the charging network gets better wont recommend it if not in t1 City.

Best part of SC Titanium card is that it works on all brands of petrol pumps HP, BP, IOC. In case of urgent need, you dont need to search for any specific brand.
I don't think there is any other CC, which gives this freedom.
But as someone above wrote, this may be unsustainable in long run for the bank and that is the reason they are not issuing new cards. For existing holder this is a good thing, this way they will be able to sustain longer.
Get electric scooter and avoid this and save fortune.
SBI BPCL octane Credit card is best for fuel. U get effective 6.25% cashback for fuel on ANY BPCL petrol pump India. Fee is 1499+18%GST which can be waived off on annual spends of 2L. You can get this card on most of the BPCL petrol pumps. Best card if u can spend 2L in a year.
PS. Some cards including SBI BPCL will charge gst on fuel transaction apart from 1% surcharge and only returns 1% surcharge, So effective cashback is little less tha 6.25%. Citi Indian oil don't charge gst.
Better not to get another card if you have SBI cashback card. Get bpcl or hp vouchers from yono gyftr which will give cashback (5%) and also help in annual fee waiver. Only issue is limited availability of such vouchers.
But bro can we use bpcl/hp voucher in all petrol pumps or restricted to specific cities?
