It’s almost all time not available or out of stock but if u have to buy it keep a eye on this u can get ryzen 5 @ 33k but twist is this 125gb ssd varent cost 33k and 256 gb varient cost 42k

Without ssd it doesn’t matter whether it is a 6th gen i3 or 10th gen i7, they all will crawl when running latest version of win 10. Better buy a laptop with pre-installed ssd else you will need to visit service centre to get it installed.

Not just 6th gen, any laptop without ssd will run much slower than any laptop with ssd.

I enquired for a seconds laptop, dell latitude some model, i5 4th gen, 4gb ram, 500gb HDD, at ₹18,000

additional 512 GB SSD at 3,000 more
And additional 4GB RAM at 1,000 more
Any suggestions regarding this, is it worth buying so?

Overpriced bro, only buy it after extensive checking for few hours at least. 4th gen i3 is too old processor. if you can wait then in Oct you should be able to get a equivalent/better laptop(even after incl ssd cost extra) for ~24-25k.

Bad idea, without ssd any latest laptop with win 10 will run slower than your 4-5 years old laptop running win 7/8.1.

You guys can get better desktop if budget is restrictive. Desktop processor often gives faster response due to tdp. So instead of buying overpriced Chinese laptop, you may upgrade/buy a desktop instead.
Also productivity and posture are better with desktop. Due to tdp a Pentium(KB and later) desktop will be almost equal to a laptop i3 or outshine it.

I find NUC much more easy to live with! You can easily get an portable screen with key/mouse combo to go with it.

Get a Micromax laptop…For 80k budget, you can get 3-4 of them… 1000% made in India (only parts are from China)… The laptop is guranteed to work flawlessly for atleast 3 months…

I actually want to ask something related to my laptop. I own Dell G3 and I used to notice that when I played game, the frame rate is actually okay-ish until I put on the charger which smoothen the frame rate. Any idea why is it like that?

Check the battery performance settings, most laptop by default switch to power saving mode (low performance) on battery mode, and when on charger revert back to high performance mode; Just google it out…

It can happen due to two reasons…

1) Your lappy is reverting to Intel GPU to save battery life when you are playing games on battery…And using nVidia GPU when you are on the AC power…

2) Intel Speedstep Technology is reducing the CPU clock speed when you are on battery to save battery life…

P. S. Gaming on battery is never a good idea…
