BSNL..
It offers 397 plan for 300/365 days (circle specific)
You will get incoming calls and messages for the mentioned days
And first 60 days u will get the outgoing calls and messages for free and 2gb data for first 60 days..
In simple terms.. ull receive those OTP sms for all 300/365 days..
Kindly check with your BSNL circle
After Skype, Viber … for a steady Indian number, this VoIP number/service from BSNL https://desidime.com/forums/dost-and-dimes/topics/anyone-used-bsnl-wings-service-outside-bharat-in-recent-months#post_7749277 is good too.
BSNL WINGS turns out one of the cheapest (if not THE cheapest) during Europe or similar roaming.
mtnl 159 for one year sim validity

I really haven’t ever come across such FRC or PV in recent times.
Checked many circles, so is/are any specific one/s I might be missing out?
For cheap bsnl
BSNL best if incoming in sole purpose. I have old sim and they don’t block incoming calls/sms on older sims. Last recharge was 136 for 2 years (730 days) which ended in March this year. Since then no problem receiving sms. BSNL don’t deactivate after 180 days if sim remains in phone and network is there. If you are new user/thinking of porting to BSNL then go for 397 straightaway with 60 Days freebies of UL Calls + 2GB/day data.
It ended much before that😔.
I know, we tried to renew it with same ₹136 earlier in January or so,
after the previous 136₹ PV’s validity ended.
In-fact even prior to that, despite knowing that in BSNL there can only be one plan/recharge whose benefits can be used (no queuing).
As even the then ₹153 plan was getting phased out.
Am also looking for secondary sim for otp purpose
