Does anyone know why I am not receiving port out code from VI. Receiving a message "there contractual obligations bla bla.." how to get rid out of this problem. Visited VI store but VI staffs are all idiot asking to contact customer care & customer care asking to visit store. This is not happening with me my friend also having same problem. Seems like VI deliberately blocking port code & TRAI doing nothing even after complaining so many times.

Particularly the posts by @violin @limbo @rohitjain1 @forceps_pointed and others.
Often, services like CUG (closed user group), (Airtel's) Black (combo plans) or VAS etcetera being active.. too might clash with such things.
Disabling all VAS and enabling complete DND are the first things I prefer fling, soon after getting any new GSM connection.
Since you yourselves have posted in one of those threads, a couple of months back.. I wonder if you ever wrote any e-mail to the Telecom Regulator or the nodal officer/s, appellate authorities of the telecom company and the response/s you got (if any).

The Rs 1799 365 days recharge for 24 GB data and 3650 outgoing SMSes is the best and cheapest now.
