Honda Activa.
Avoid EVs for such short rides.

Just for comparison, (since drum type braking is less efficient and also manages thermal dissipation suboptimally) TVS' Wego.. despite being somewhat cheaper than the Activa models.. has disc type braking at-least in front (or for more premium.. I think on both, rear and front).
P.S.: I am aware that the (TVS) Jupiter is more comparable to the (Honda) Activa. I was just making a point on value for money, safety (braking feature).
In over thirty years, little to no progress on replacing the (comparatively) less efficient Lithium Ion type battery tech with something else. (Main issue with fires in Lithium Ion type batteries is that.. cutting off external oxygen does not automatically stop their self sustaining reaction.)
But otherwise, irrespective of the average use, Electric or similar vehicles are the way forward.
Obviously there are many fuddu (assembled but sold as branded) vehicles and the increasing costs of electricity from grid.
Otherwise if one has cheaper solar power or stolen power, EVs too are a good alternative (in my view).
