Best way to Apply for HDFC Diners card

Hello dimers,
i been thinking of getting New HDFC Credit card and i am thinking about getting HDFC Diners Club miles as i have been flooded with HDFC credit card offers with 1Lac limit.
Me and My wife hold Citi Premier miles(Soon planning to downgrade or close),Amex Platinum Travel(Spend worth 6-7Lac), Hdfc Regalia(Spend worth 4-5 lac) Sbi simplyclick (very low use).idea is to concentrate spend 2-3 cards for reward points
i personally dont hold any hdfc card so plan is to move the ladder and someday target diners black as wife’s regalia targeted towards infinia.
so main question is 1) is Club miles good bet ? 2) whats the best way to apply for the same through Rm or Online?

apply and take whichever the higher variant you are eligible as of now and then wait for few months to seek the upgrade to your desired variant.
