OP mentioned purchasing from Apple website as an option, so it's probably either MacBook Pro 16 inch base version or 14 inch with custom configuration.
Best option would be to get it from US or Dubai via relative or friend (Apple refurbished are pretty much like brand new)

Many modular and niche ones are expensive.
There was a time, I never worked on screens less that 17 inches.
Now I can only think of it, but not get any anti-glare, matte screen 17 or 19 inch laptop or convertible at a decent price.

You can try getting a student discount if it's Apple's main site. For other vendors like aptronix etc try getting GST input and claim it you can save 18%.
I don't suggest you buy on Amazon as most of them are returned stuff. I won't say refurbished but not sealed ones.
