I want to alert everyone who is using Amazon Pay later and their credit partner is Capital float.

I am getting spam calls and messages from capital float. This is misusing of information amazon partner capital float.

I check my cibil today, my amazon pay later limit is Rs 25000, in the credit report I found that they have only rs 5000 from capital float and Rs 20000 from karur vyasa bank. I dont even know which bank is this. They have splitted the credit limit into two loans without even letting know the customer. Not only me it happened with many.

Agree. Slowly its becoming scam now. Karur vysa bank is also good bank mostly in south india.

It is not scam, when you clicked on that “I agree” button & did not read the multi page T&C it was buried deep in there somewhere. In any case one should not expect any privacy while subscribing to BNPL.

Its our mistake we signed up for these. I have only signed up for amazon pay later because of trust but got to know they are even worst than Paytm. Now I will get it closed already contacted Amazon to close Pay later account. Also I talked to one of the customer on twitter he said that he is going to file a pil on capital float. He contacted cibil and found that the consent was not given by him for the enquiry made on credit report.

What’s wrong in this? The lending partner here is Capital Float, Amazon is just a mediator who facilitated you the loan. How the bank/loan provider is going to trust you without evaluating your credit history? Yes, i am upset about spam calls about loans too but what can we do? Even banks do it once we create an account with them

It is understandable if you’re upset with capital float sharing your financial information with Amazon but that’s not the case here (Even if they want to they can based on the terms you agreed to)

Nothing new about this. Apart from those PayLater lines issued by IDFC First, it is same for everyone else

It’s not scam.
Only thing I dislike about Amazon paylater is if account is already logged in then only pan card 4 digits is used as authentication to place orders. Pan card is no longer private data, its available at many places without any masking. Amazon should have used OTP along with this.

Due to some miscommunication on email they closed my account, I am glad they did.
