1. your running is going to be a lot, mostly in city.
2. have cng in your city
3. no need of large trunk space
then, stretch your budget a little and get Hyundai Grand i10 Nios CNG. You will save a lot.

WagonR is also a good buy.. Its high so it dont get as hot and is pretty comfortable.. Its a box shape which many dont like but it has advantages like extra head room and is much more spacious than small cars and also pretty comfortable..

How about maruti Suzuki s presso ?

go for nissan magnite base model 6.25L with waiting period of 8 months here in delhi.

actually not a right time to buy car cause technology going overhaul in next 2-3 years.

I wouldn’t suggest any maruti cars but they have few options under 6L budget like Alto, celerio, wagon r, s-presso.

i10 is good choice but you will be getting base model only for that price. Hyundai cars are most reliable and safer than dubba cars. In my personal experience Hyndai service is one of the best.

Tiago. Go for test drive yourself. Dont believe in Bhed chal (Blind Followers of Maruti/Hyundai).
I too have a Grand i10 and Tiago. Apart from little bit more vibrations in Tiago, Its better in every aspect from Grand i10.

i own a tiago, far better than celerio in every aspect. if u want a better engine get grand i10. kwid if u donot care much about safety( good for city use)

Thanks dimers for the suggestions here. Most have suggested here for Tiago which seems to be a good option around this budget.

Buy 8 e rickshaws

dont buy celerio..hv seen the instance where some bi cycle hit the car very minorly from behind n my friend hv to shell 3k to fix it(dint claimed from insurance)…tin quality is better than this crap

Or if u want hatchback then go with Tiago or swift/baleno/altroz

If you want luxury and ease of riding experience , the soend more bucks and get a Hyundai, else Safety-reliability- after sales service, Tata is very very reliable.
And yes never ever go for a Tin ka dabba AKA MS.
