cc bill generated but got refund

Pay only remaining amount 

Pay the entire bill amount. Refunds are not considered as payment.

Spent is 1.5L and refund is 1.3L so balance is 20k right so why to pay 30k in the first place? anyways refund will show up as credit and your oustanding amount will be reduced by 1.3L and you can pay 20 or 30k whatever 😃

Even I had this issue. Cc told to pay full then they will refund to desired bank account.( Even u can request refund in app)

If the refund amount is credited to your credit card account, it is fine.

If bill has been generated then you have to pay full.

Refund will show as credit in next month

First clear your current outstanding in full after that try 1000 rs. Payment

I think sbi will not allow overpayment as per recent experience with sbi then mail that text of transaction failure to sbi nodal officer with asking how to pay full bill and get money back

How you get 1.3 lac refund when you spend 1.5 lac and I have query for the SBI cashback card that if I pay electricity bills with it did I get 5% cashback or not ?

Ask for the refund first, let it deposited in your bank account and then pay the billed amount of credit card. This can be done before the due date.

Happened twice with me.. they charge high fee if you don’t pay full amount even after refund

second time I mailed them and said i will complaint to rbi then only they refunded me charges..

if you want to avoid trouble pay 1.5L and later request for remaining amount in bank

pay full bill amount and claim excess amount refund to savings account.

Yes, you need to pay the full billed amount (refunds after bill generation don't matter), I learned this the hard way last month from SBI itself 😣. After bill is settled you can get the extra credit balance refund (All banks have this facility).
