CIBIL got upgrade!
Now it notifies real time when an enquiry occurs via SMS instead of email.
Most users often miss e-mails, this is useful now.
Note: for this you need to register on CIBIL website first.

Its not new, its implemented last few months ago (after RBI notification on changes to CIC), but sadly that SMS is not notified always, i had hard enquiries a lot recently but only once i received this SMS notification:) so not sure we can trust this new SMS feature to be sacrosanct
So dont trust only the SMS:) always log in to the CIBIL and REFRESH REPORT (for subscribed users) for non subscribed dont know
I applied for something & got SMS today, as well as email (1 hour late).
We used to receive email earlier also, SMS is an addition.
Yes, it might be (1m) old but it's news which I found useful to share.

The email alerts I get that there's been a change in my CIBIL Report only notifies that there's a change but doesn't mention which bank has made an enquiry.

there are 2 types of alerts
1) normal alerts and
2) enquiry
normal alerts feature is paid
but enquiry is free alert (not paid) it will be sent on email/sms (after last month RBI update)
Side note: But dont trust that i had many hard enquiries only few I received SMS/Email:)
this CIBIL free SMS enquiry new feature is bugged or not working 90% of time:)
