Hello Dimers,

I’ve Axis Flipkart LTF card and ACE paid card and I am considering to close my ACE card as I no longer see any real benefit since I already have Axis FK LTF. My monthly electricity bill is around 5 to 6k and I spent around 1lakh until now since April 2021, it was FYF and renewal charges will be levied in April. I’ve HDFC platinum DC which I am thinking to upgrade to Millennia DC to get 10% cb through Amazon GV for bill payments. I’ve heard Axis is not issuing this card to new customer easily now so I am confused whether I should continue this card or not? I don’t do any money rotation so please gimme your suggestion guys?

TIA.

As per the above details, ur not much spending on the Ace Card.

If ur spending is less than 2L better switch to some other card or downgrade it to other card having less spend waiver and having good rewards for Bills and payments (for ur Electricity bills).

Axis freecharge gives 5% CB on all spends thru Freechare app and waiver on 50000 per year. By joining u will get rs.700 worth voucher against 350+gst joining fees.

Don’t close ACE, its best card for as of now esp after HDFC devalued rewards

Yes I am aware but it is paid card while FK Axis is LTF and difference is 0.5%.

@Scorpion bro I am not interested in freecharge card as I have Axis Neo LTF card which also gives 5% cb on bill payments. FK Axis covers of the Ace features and is LTF.

Then i would suggest the best option is to close ACE, considering the cards u hold and the spending pattern.

But HDFC dc has cb limit of rs400 per month right?

Yes correct but that is more than enough for people like me. In case of CC bill more than 40k I can split spend in two months for that.

“Millennia DC to get 10% cb through Amazon GV for bill payments”
Could you explain how this works? I thought 5% Millennia rewards +5% SmartBuy cashback is only valid for Amazon orders which excludes not Bill payments, Gift cards etc

You buy 8000 amazon instant voucher through smartbuy on gyftr website which will give you 400+400 cb and pay your electricity bill etc through Amazon pay balance. You won’t get 10% cb if you directly pay bill on Amazon though DC

Ace shines for 2 reasons

No min amt to get CB

Rounding , this part everyone overlooks  (If CB is 100.6 > For FK you will get 100 for Ace you will get 101) It adds up over time
