Covaxin or Covishield?

I m tryng to get my parents vaccinated. However, I’ve been hearing many different thoughts regarding which has to be taken either covaxin or covishield. Many suggested us to only take covaxin. But covaxin is not easily available in the city. If u have already vaccinated, what r ur thoughts on these two?

Covaxin is mostly not available unless you use some high contacts and influence…
Even though Covishield offer lesser efficacy compared to covaxin… It better to go for Covishield instead of waiting for covaxin… As pandemic spreading too fast now.
Most of the Govt employees including Police, defence and healthcare ones are getting Covishield vaccine.
In most of government vaccination center only Covishield stock is there…
Covaxin completely hoarded and only influential ones are getting it.

I have been vaccinated by covishield and My mother by covaxin. Both doses completed for both 1 month back almost
Right now we both are positive and have mild symptoms and loss of smell.
Covaxin looks more promising in recent data because its sample size is far less compared to covishield (almost 70% less)
Just get vaccinated with whatever easily available for you
How are u both now sirg?it means that people can get positive after taking both dose also 
Whatever, after vaccination, one should go for 10 days isolation in prevailing situation. It comprimises immunity for few days.
I went for vaccination through backdoor, I need for kind of job I do. But doctor knowing me refursed and asked to wait for few days
Yes after vaccination we need isolated cause immunity is low immediately after vaccination…… people are crowding centers and getting covid free with vaccination…..

There are lot of misconceptions regarding vaccine. People saying they are willing to pay more and some saying they are waiting for that magic dose to be imported to India.
Some points to remember
✓ This is pandemic, so take it seriously
✓ No vaccine, as of now, is claiming to provide lifetime immunity to virus, so paying more for specific dose is not intelligent.
✓ According to a study, almost no person got hospitalized for severe infection after both dose of any vaccine. So we can say all of them are safe and provide protection from virus.
Try Russian made sputnik vaccine.
Pfizer >= Moderna > Sputnik V > Covaxin >> Covishield
Pfizer & moderna are not available in india.
Covaxin efficacy may be higher due to low sample size & trials.
But if not better Vaccine available, go with covishield. Vaccination is must for everyone , especially elderly people with co-morbidity
Covaccine is better . Covaccine is exported to the USA while Covishield is banned in many countries.
Many of my relatives/known circle got heart attacks after covishield.
bro, don’t spread these kind of false rumors. Everyone in my known circle (atleast 20 people) has got covishield only. Nobody had any problem after getting the shot as you are saying.
Both Vaccines are effective. Get Covaxin if possible but don’t miss opportunity to get Covishield if Covaxin is not there.
