I dont know WTF is wrong with banks and credit reports authorities, I'm frustrated with mailing them a ton of times.
I had two axis bank ccs , one i closed in 2018-2019(not sure abt the date) , the other one i closed in 2022, but even today one of the card is showing active in cibil and in experian report both cards are showing active. I have got NOC from the bank and they are saying they can't do anything and the cibil authority sucks, they gave same reply all the time that your reports are correct. No changes needed.
I'm tired and frustrated to see my credit reports every month with these two credit cards actively showing.
Plus there is a new problem came up, i had tata neu rupay variant cc which i changed to visa signature one , now in my credit report , there are two cc are showing by hdfc name, i don't know why this happening.
If anybody know how to deal with this kind of situation, pls pls help me. I'll be grateful to them. 🙏🏻
I'm sharing screenshots.

Raise a dispute through CIBIL portal..it will be easy if you have paid membership. You can do it without membership also..
I'm also faced same issue with axis credit card..I was hoping it will be updated automatically but even after 15 months it's still showing active.. Raised dispute through CIBIL..and axis bank accepted the dispute and updated the status in 5 days..
I have done several times , but no resolution...
mail hdfc they mostly fix such issues
for axis raise complaint on ombudsman
@mohiit . i see current balance is zero. so you shouldn't worry. please raise request at cibil / experian as applicable. no need to aparoach axis or ombudsman. but it takes 2weeks to resolve.
I approached them several times, it's been 2 years 😂
If it has been less than 3 months since the conversion of the HDFC two cards, I recommend being patient and waiting. It typically takes about 90 to 120 days for them to update credit reports, as they can be quite slow. However, if it has been more than that time, then we should consider raising a dispute.
Ok thank you, I'll wait in that case
same issue with SBI simplysave card. its still showing active. i closed it last year.
New update...
I mailed axis bank at [email protected] and the after several replies, it get directly to nodal officer ,they have given me 3 days time after receiving cibil report from me... So I'm waiting, also one of the cards has rs. 4 excess amount which belongs to me and has been for 4 yrs 😂, shows how irresponsible axis bank wale are, so now they have credited the amount to my bank, i hope it will make change to my report from next month or so... I will update if my report changes , thanks anyway guys..
Another update -
At last , both axis cards plus the postpe loan account has been fully closed and removed from the active accounts, and now showing as closed in the cibil report... Got the lastest report...
Now waiting for the changes to happen in Experian report...
