Hello Dimers,
We have evolved from a very basic forum to where we are now… Its a interesting journey and we have learnt a lot from Dimers on what works and what does not work… 
Lately we started with a major upgrade for Desidime where we are consolidating many of the features to provide the most valuable information to Dimers and visitors of the website…
We rolled out the stores and categories page in New design format where all information about a particular store (be it deal, coupon or a discussion thread) nicely tucked on one single page..

We obviously rolled out Chat functionality which is still being worked on and will completely replace PM in next few months.
And now we are moving our efforts towards forums.. DesiDime forums is more than just deal sharing platform or plain vanilla forums… Its the most vibrant place on the internet where any shopaholic would love to be
I am attaching a screenshot of the future Forum thread (Or you can say deal)… Some of the key highlights would be Wiki (Currently Admin/Mod driven Wiki but would soon be more like a Community wiki so all top information is summarised which OP might have missed out on), ability to flag comments, ability to chat with dimers from same window (a better version), ability for the OP to upload images on Desidime server itself (no need to upload on imgur etc..), collapsing of quotes so its easier to read on mobile etc…
We would be bringing on many changes around how deal/coupon is submitted vs how a trade thread is started… We would be using this thread to keep posting regular updates so that way, all of us can together build a better community for the Dimers.

Home page of DD is flickering when you open in chrome browser. Anyone allso facing this issue ?

Sorry but this might already be there, but I was thinking if we can have awards for products, I mean everyone keeps asking about which phone to buy, it would be nice if there was an award for the best smartphone in the major price bands (<10K, <15K, <20K), award based on the reviews and votes of dimers, ‘Dimer Budget phone of the year’ etc, and maybe a few more things apart from phones can be considered award some deals, like loot of the year, sale of the year and so on.
I suggest to increase the character limit in channel alert.
Sometimes 80 characters are not enough to make the alert upto the mark.
Many times we can add validity, code and other details but due to limit we can’t.

We just rolled out a new feature today where the entire popular deals section would now be auto-refreshed based on “Hotness” metric…

The “Hotness” would be calculated based on many metrics like how complete deal is (when it comes to details), image uploaded, price/mrp added, appropriate category selected, number of votes, suggestions, number of dimers clicking out or using the deal etc..
We would now be using the same set of popular deals to quickly figure out or shortlist FPD from, which would be visible on home page… And yes, soon popular deals will be visible on home page too.

In new App version, we cannot see from the list of deals that how many suggestions has been given to it and whether it is already fpd or not.

All sub-forums under forums are getting crashed in app.
Msgs are not delivering instantly in chat(app).some get delivered after few min..
Which comes inbetween chats.
So conversation becomes weird ,bcoz of this issue

Sorry guys, Issues around Crash reported for Sub-Forums will be resolved soon and a new APK will be uploaded this week…
Hope you guys are liking the fact that you can now see comments easily, jump to last comment with just a click etc…
Bro i will say old app(2.3.6) is very good and stable too, just keep that old app and just solve the chat issue(sometimes message not going sometime message delivering multiple times) and that’s enough for us
Also Google keyboard do lags when typing something in dd app, don’t know if it’s fault of my phone or bug in dd app, it never lags in any other app though
Also if possible in future give us to edit post from app itself, this are enough no need of any extra features which can damage the stability of the app
It would be great if the post title shows number of updates happened to a post since I opened it last time. This helps me to know if someone posted any update. This count will be User specific.
