Do office/home verification really happens in sbi credit card application

I received 2nd call for my sbi credit card application… There the agent mentioned…. That there will be physical verification…. Do the verification really happens…?? Last week…. Hdfc agent…. Aksed to send me home photos on whatsapp and nothing more….?? Do anyone faced the real verification…???
My aadhar kyc is already done….
LOCATION IS- BANGLORE….

If applied as self employed then it is must especially if office & home address declared as same.
Self Employed- Home verification did happen but I have very good credit score and 3 credit cards before applying.
Home Verification – Took picture of me standing infront of the house and a virtual signature and that’s it.
I have 5-6 different credit cards, home verification never happened for me.
But agent said that there will be home and office verification…. Did that happened with you…. Agent said.. And it never happened… And card got approved… Especially sbi
