Does newer android versions let you set the preferred network type to use only 4G?

Currently on android version is 8.1,
Under the network & settings, mobile network option, preferred network type, I see 4 option menu, to choose between
1) 2G/3G/4G
2) 2G/3G
3) 3G
4) 2G
But no option for 4G only, does newer android version have an option to choose only 4G as preferred network type directly from the above menu.

Custom ROMs based on Android 10 have this option. Even close to stock like Lineage/Pixel Experience. Haven’t tried Android 11 ROMs but it should be available eventually if not implemented already.
Use this ussd code. star#star#4636#star#star
But that resets after every restart.

I think network mode selection also depends on the SIM
Using S10+ (Android 10) with Jio and have below options
4G only
3G only
2G only
2G/3G (Auto)
4G/3G/2G(Auto)
great, so your phone supports 4G only mode, which is convenient. I am using an ASUS, stock android.
Using S20+ and Android 11, it has LTE only, 3G only, 2g only or 3g/2G auto
I think lte is the 4G network only option.
Phone 0 mean sim 1, phone 1 mean sim 2
From my experience, this option varies among devices and not Android version. My YU Ace running on Android 8.1 has all 4G only, 3G only, 2G only option. I think all my previous phones had these options :- redmi 2 prime, moto e, sony experia etc
Click on Settings – About phone – All specs In this There is one option Internal Storage Click 7 times On it – Click phone information 1 or phone information 2 – Set preferred network type LTE ONLY
No, not even on Android 10
(considering stock or close to stock OS. Not miui and others)
