As promised Earlier, The Fitness Thread of Desidime is Born…So from now on, i will be discussing A-Z about Fitness, Weight loss, Muscle Gain, Healthy Tips and Much more…in this Thread, I request all the interested dimers to monitor this thread daily and feel free to Post your queries.

1.) A kind note to all the dimers, Kindly avoid posting some unwanted pictures in this thread, no fight, no abusing words and be a gentle dimer…

I’m like 15-20 kilos overweight…all that will be gone by next year this time.

Regular rowing machines would do just fine. But some fluid rowing machines are visible here: http://www.amazon.in/b?node=3404...31
And to answer your first question, no, I have not personally seen or heard of anybody in India using a fluid rowing machine. Keep in mind that these are quite expensive. CC @FeelMyL0Ve

could not watch any video’s or animated images but it seems to be something like a marketing spin on the good ol’ simple rowers that we have seen since decades.
nope, I have not seen or come across anything like this in India. or for that matter anywhere else. but then, i do not have a mindset oriented towards modern gym / iron pumping ways to create unrealistic unnatural exceptions off our bodies
this seems to be based on particle board or some sort of celluloid engineered material passed off as wood.
or may be even real wood.
and any natural elements like wood, are gold. #expensive

no idea, except for the usual ones. i last remember having seen and used a full size rowing machine 20-21 years back at the clubhouse of the (employer organisation’s) colony we stayed in.
if for outdoors a great alternative will be to eat Singhadas
@DealSeeker, to-date I can not figure out whether Singhada is a fruit or a vegetable, but i definitely know i like the taste and satiating feeling of eating a few and that they are really good for the minerals supply, other health benefits.

@goss8877 No haven’t seen the fluid ones in use but at very expensive gyms in metros one might find one(NOT a fan of those money sucking pretentious gyms). My advice is don’t bother with it. Stationary one is good enough, and since I am a big advocate of free weights I would say you don’t need any kind of machine. One hand dumbbell rows does the same as this machine sans the little extra calories it would burn by making you move your legs too.

Don’t use any weight gainer, they are not good. Instead use good Whey protein. You have to increase your daily calorie intakes to increase your weight. Increase intake of milk, banana, dates, raisins, nuts, curd, chicken breast, egg whites.
