1. Good camera (top of the line)
2. Snapdragon processor
3. Possibly no curved screen
Budget is around 60k.
Thanks in advance

Sadly it isn’t a snapdragon based phone. I have had the S10 last year and the thermal throttling was hilarious to say the least. Even for basic usage the phone would heat up like crazy so can’t risk getting another exynos phone.
The curved display on S20 series isn’t as bad as on oneplus 8 pro so I can bear the curved screen but not the exynos.
Asus latest phone, i watched the review few days back and the camera is good
Which model is it?
Get the fan edition. S20
Doesn’t run on Snapdragon processor.

Thank you.
Oneplus 8 pro – current front runner but intend to wait till March for 9 pro instead.
Asus Rog phone 3 – sub par cameras
Oppo find x2 – steeply priced for something similar to 8 pro
Lg wing 5g – not keen on such experimental phones with not the best cameras either.
Huawei p40 pro – no Google services.
Good camera (top of the line)…
Huawei Mate 40 Pro is the king here. Unfortunately No Google services, limited purchase option
Apple- Rules out as you want Android
Samsung ruled out as you want Snapdragon (What about importing Samsung? They still have one of the best cameras out there)
Oneplus One ruled out- Nothing to brag about camera
In short you have very limited options like Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra or Vivo X50 Pro+ or Oppo Find X2 Pro or may be just get a pixel/import pixel
Option purely based on high camera rating with Snapdragon processor
You summed it up really well man. That’s the whole confusion I have.
the top dxomark rated camera phones are either iPhones (though expensive, these are most well balanced in terms of factors I consider) or phones not officially sold in India or lack snapdragon processor for Indian variants or lack google services.Over the years, I always preferred iPhone over Android devices but thanks to the current OnePlus 7T I have been using for the past 5 months my Android experience changed completely and I am in love with Android over iOS now. Camera experience has been a compromise and I was able to live with it considering how little I used the camera over the past few months , all thanks to covid19 restricting my travel out of home. Now things are changing and I need a phone with good camera but with good performance and Android too.
My work domain changed and right now Android is suiting more to my needs than iOS so not keen on getting an iPhone now. Call me stupid but I got a used iPhone 11 pro 2 weeks ago and had to sell it back again in a few days as I wasn’t able to get used to it this time around.
Samsung is ur best bet. Try to import or buy from some reputed international site which can take care of customs or ask someone to bring it along.
I wonder why all Samsung phones are Exynos one’s besides the Note 10 lite, IIRC, one?
Exynos is der home grown chip..higher margins
US variant use qualcomm to support CDMA…(Kind of proprietary tech of qualcomm)
Reason the end up using Exynos is almost all phones across markets
I happen to use the Samsung Note 10 Lite for a short while few weeks back & I am soo impressed. A no nonsense phone in my opinion..
- it is fast (don’t care what processor)
- excellent display ample screen space for normal usage
- s-pen is the best feature to have
- pretty good camera with ois
- battery was just ok (compared to others)
If your job needs a good camera and spen needs (drawing/scribbling), I think this is a good one to buy, irrespective of the processor IMO
Also, read that Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is now available in offline stores for 45k. Even this is a great buy according to me.
Does the phone feel “lite” in terms of features compared to a normal note?
Can gcam be installed in the same?
go for the latest pixel phone
Four companies give best image quality for mobile photography – Samsung, Huawei, Apple & Google. Any brand other than these you’ll have to compromise on image quality. One Plus might not even be on 2 tier. I haven’t read replies in this thread but if you don’t want Samsung then go for Apple if you want top notch imaging experience.
Best still camera- Pixel. Best software along side.
Best overall camera- iPhone 12.
No other android device comes anywhere close. Samsung cameras are nice but it’s like a brain dead zombie trying to become a normal human, trying too hard but failing in the end. Also, pathetic software.
Personal advice- It’s utterly pointless to spend premium behind Android devices.
Not sure which Samsung you had or experienced ..
One UI is very refined and have lot of praises
Only pixel fits your bill. Oneplus 8pro is also worth a look if you’re not willing to wait for pixel 5.
Thanks for the suggestions guys. Finally went for iphone 12 today.
Anyone using pixel 4a. Reviews on daily usage?
S20+
Curved though
