I got a message
Dear Customer, As per Govt of India’s Cyber Swachhta Project, your device is probably infected with botnet malware. Please visit http://www.cyberswachhtakendra....in for remediation.
The website looks genuine since its end with .gov.in
Did someone else receive a similar message earlier?
What should I do know?
How will I know which app is infected?

software is also sent?
Can you paste the screenshot?
Did you find any issue in your device /laptop?
there was virus in mobile phone and formatted it and all msgs were deleted, so don’t have any ss
Why so panic. Just calm down
The message itself says probably infected.
They have themselves mentioned quick heal you can try it any other software on trial to scan your mobile or pc.
quick heal (downloaded through play store) wanted a couple of permissions like device permission that’s looked stranged.
I granted the bare minimum permissions to quick heal and running a scan but no threats detected yet.
Yeah, they keep sending these from time to time for awareness. Nowdays they are sending about help curtail Child Pornography. Just read and delete messages. Don’t worry
I am fearing because of pegasus like malware.
Million dollar question, how do they know whats inside your device? Is the surveillance state so much?
@DealBroker23 Just delete the message, order some beer and chill
May be they want us to install apps and then they keep regular watch on us. Just by sending these types of panic msgs, one who is unaware will definitely believe and do what not.
Or maybe they want to make people aware of such things and be on safe side or rather being crying later when they lose their money or anything happens.
it is ad of quick heal. #madeinindia
This is a phishing attack. This itself is a malware. Never download anything however genuine it looks.
ignore
Yes received message many times, even their software is also sent in message link, but unsure it is real or fake
