I want to grilled tomatoes. It says I have to use Microwave + Grill (Combo) mode. Guide says that i need to place tomatoes on high rack. But high rack is made of metal. So how can I use metal in Microwave (+ grill) mode?
Also what is the exact recipe? Do I need to preheat first or do I not need to preheat? Stand for 2-3 mins? When do I need to stand? They should have given step by step guide.

As a fellow member.. one can refrain from iterating this..or mocking it.
As long as you GRILL or BAKE and do not COOK, it's perfectly safe. BTW, charcoal grilled tomato soup with toasted bread crumbs tastes great 😋
You can't microwave a tomato unless it is submerged in water - same as boiling an egg, it goes phut. GRILL or CONVECTION mode is safe. Try it if you dare and then post here how many hours it took you to clean the cavity
And those combo COOKING modes are for food containing cut pieces of tomato that are cooked in microwave safe utensils
So puncturing 🍅it or slicing its skin and outer walls (beside of-course cutting it🍅 in pieces) is the way to go¿ if one has to use the microwave setting?
I also have same question, can high rack which is made of metal, work in Microwave mode.
