HDFC CLASSIC Downgraded to STANDARD

As the title says, my HDFC account has been downgraded to STANDARD from CLASSIC. Though I was not maintaining the MAB, it was close to the requirements. I have read posts on DD, some people mentioned that they don’t maintain MAB and still keep CLASSIC status.
I understand that they will start charging me for Platinum Debit Card and other banking services. What is the best way to avoid these charges?

same happened for others as well including me, my MAB was above >1.5L always and still got downgraded to Standard on Dec 31st. thought this could be some year end glitch.
RM mentioned that still I am mapped under classic banking programme

I complaint on twitter and my RM, bank manager and region head called me and assured that I am still in classic program. I asked for written confirmation and bank manager did that too. It’s indeed a tech glitch. You may try twitter way which is powerful. I never thought it would make even the region head to call me at 9pm
My RM said Twitter complaints or queries are very high priority and it usually give them 1hour TAT for resolution so in future my RM has asked me to refrain from using Twitter and assured he will do everything he can do to resolve my queries on priority

What is the minimum requirement to upgrade from standard to classic?
Are there any genuinely useful perks of being a classic customer? I am thinking of shifting my salary account from HDFC to Axis

My account got downgraded too. Last time on dec 31st it got downgraded to standard, and after 3 days it was changed to classic again.
This time I don’t know whether it is a glitch or real downgrade.
seems like its a frequent issue at hdfc , will get sorted automatically in some days I guess
I’m classic banking customer. I can see preferred banking upgrade offer in offer section of INB. Not upgrading though, as I don’t see any additional benefit in it

I ordered platinum debit card last month. Didn’t activate it yet. Now I don’t know what to do if that downgrade is real.
What kind of cc can i expect from classic account and preferred account. currently maintaining 1 lac waiting for upgrade is it worth it for preffered for better cc. i dont hold any hdfc cc.

My account which was showing CLASSIC till yesterday is showing Standard today..
Till date it is Standard Account, but RM says it shows my account in Preferred List and it is a glitch will be fixed soon.
