HDFC credit card application track issue

Hi guys, so I had applied for hdfc cc and got a verification call today.On the call the lady helped me in completing the application as I don’t have an office phone number because of which the application was not going forward. I got the tracking number too through sms and it said to check after two days, but due to curiosity I checked immediately and it shows application decline.
So the application has been declined or will the status change after two days?

HDFC offering pre-approved CC nowadays ?
@xera0117 , It’s declined but do not apply again for the same…You will need to wait for 6 more months now to reapply or it will be declined again…If you badly need their CC (maybe for the upcoming Amazon Great Indian Festival sale??) , open an FD & get a Secured FD based CC from them or you can wait till the pre-approved offer comes which actually may never come as no-one can guarantee after how many months & years you will get a pre-approved offer from the bank…
I have my Axis account since 2003…They gave me Pre-Approved CC in 2017 lol… 
So, if you need their CC, don’t wait & book an FD to get a CC against it…You will get it almost immediately doesn’t matter what your CIBIL score is & what income you have & they won’t ask you for any kind of documents or income proofs also as the CC will be tied to your FD…
If it’s not urgent for you & you don’t want to book an FD with them, then you can wait (indefinitely) to get a pre-approved offer from the bank…
Thanks so much for the reply. Yes I applied specially for the Amazon sale as my maximum purchases are from there. It’s sad coz I got a message saying your card has been e-approved in principle later at night. Not going to apply with fd as limit will be stuck with the fd amount right? I also added 50k to my account before applying thinking it might help with the process 
Will Buy OnePlus Nord on HDFC Debit Card EMI in this Amazon GIS if they offer no cost EMI for my friend. Hoping that after this HDFC will offer me PA Credit card offer.

If you have a CC from any of those mentioned banks, send the front side of the CC photo/scan blurring Expiry completely alongwith the last two months statements of the card.. You will need to show them the full 16 digit card number and the name printed on the card… Do not forget to hide/block out the entire expiry month and the year and don’t send the back side photo of the card…
I had applied for HDFC millenia card a month ago. Everything went smooth until the last stage where they wanna verify the office which is now not operating because of the current scene. We’re all working from home. I told them that i could provide my income proofs, other credit card statement etc but the manager says higher authority not accepting without office verification. So have to wait i guess
The site will always show DECLINE, In process etc only even if the application is on hold/processing. Your application either completely rejected or still under process.
did you got virtual card after you applied for preapproved card?

Got the same mail but I couldn’t apply as my application is already pending I think. Try it you might get it. Congrats

Can I confirm this by calling customer care or by visiting branch?
Did you check offer section? Don’t worry, apply for the application, they will not hit cibil until verification call.
Ok guys will apply tomorrow.
Guys after filling my customer ID it’s showing you are eligible for these cards(without asking any income proof) then immediately that page closes and showing me that I’ve recently applied for a HDFC credit card contact branch.
So HDFC system have some bugs I can see the pre approved cards but can’t apply because 90 days not complete from my previous application.

Last I’ve applied for HDFC Credit Card on 21st July so my 90 days will complete on 21st October. So should I wait for 90days to complete and then apply online or visit branch?

Bumping this old thread. So last month i had gone to the hdfc branch near me for processing my cc application. The dumb employee kept on insisting that i need to have 3 months salary slip even though i repeatedly kept pointing that the mail i received clearly says i can give my cc statement too. Not wanting a fight and another headache i completely dropped the idea. But yesterday i received a mail from hdfc and this time they say we could not confirm your address and want me to submit a rca residence declaration form. So should i go ahead with it? Anybody can help me this mess? @Sushrut.B
Fake emails…They are sending these same emails to everyone…I too applied using one of these links but the application got declined even though they sent me emails & SMS’s that it was approved…

Many people who got these emails or directly applied on their sites also got card approved emails & SMS’s but they didn’t get the cards as HDFC declined the applications later & I’m also one of them…Complained to HDFC about this on 2nd November…They still didn’t care to respond…Some lucky people got the cards also…
