Also, the required average balance (monthly/ quarterly/ AHB/ Ye B/ Wo B) is back. It does not show 0 any more. Advisory to kindly maintain balance and not get shocked with charges.

I took the time now to check that my current account under the same customer ID is showing 0 required and the business account is also showing 0 required.
Only my Savings Account is showing 25,000 required.
1. I have over 2 lakh in this account, but 2 lakh is blocked under ASBA for IPOs. Account Balance shows the full balance, only Available Balance shows the actual leftover after the block, and that is below 25,000.
Does this mean that I would need to maintain clear and AVAILABLE minimum balance of 25,000 even if the money in account is over 2 lakh but 2 lakh is simply blocked in an IPO and not out of the account?
That is the only thing I can think of. If that is the case, I will transfer requisite from my other account into this to make up for the monthly shortfall that the bank algorithms might be projecting.
What are your inputs on this?
I am assuming while it says 25000 minimum balance… It doesn’t mean that it should not come below 25000. At times, it is possible to be below 25000(just as in your case) but the average of your daily balances over the month should not come below 25000. While I am not sure that blocked amount for IPO is considered for minimum balance calculation or not, I am still sure that your average will be higher than 25000 over the month.

Interface update ya redesign ka meaning hi maloom nahin hai HDFC walon ko.
I always apply IPO through ICICI balance remains same untill allotment and lien is counted as balance
Lagta hai HDFC ka master engineer source code lock kar ke laapata hogaya hai

@phoenix1386 as far as I know balance marked with lien is considered for interest calculation as well as min balance requirement because technically that money is still with bank. Only when ipo is allotted that money goes out from bank & treated just like deduction/transfer of funds from account.
Exactly, that is what they say and that is what it is supposed to be like. So… why am I seeing that minimum balance requirement.. when all my other accounts are showing 0 and here on forum as well people are reporting 0..? Remembering ACP Pradyuman here…
And when they are planning for App renovation?
Do they change product code also upon upgrading to classic or preferred anyone noticed @akki.akki

Product code does not change since the product does not change. SBMAX account remains SBMAX account, with product code 193. Program benefits are provided.
