HDFC Rupay Platinum DC expiring. Help needed to get same variant again.

I mailed HDFC support. But they told me to block new card if received other than RUPAY PLATINUM and request for new one (which of course is not available online for Rupay Platinum).

Misplaced my HDFC rupay platinum card and had to hotlist card from netbanking and then reissue same card again.
Got delivered new rupay card with validity until 2031, had to pay 200 replacement charges.
You can try this if you don't mind paying 200 😉 or just visit local branch and apply again
Is there any option about reissue "same" card again? Or a generic option?

The thing is banks are very much inclined to give you a Rupay card when they see you are interested in Rupay Variant.
I always feel the customer supports are agreed on Rupay Variant easily while asking to them on call or mail.
Happened with me in case of HDFC and SBI both
just put replacement request before its expiry quoting card lost or damaged

Nope. Only visa platinum.
Call them or write to them of course.
