My Health Insurance (only self) is due for renewal,
Currently have Manipal Cigna with Niva Bupa (topup)
No claims, so don't have any experience with them
I recently discovered Acko's Plans and they look much interesting too!
And I checked and the premium is almost same as current renewal..
I need ur advice, Should I continue with existing and renew, or go for new Acko?
No pre-existing and such, also, in my 20s.

Read about Niva Bhupa Reassure 2.0 Titanium plan. I have opted for it last month.

I decided to stick with existing Manipal,
Since its generally good to stick with existing provider so that you can build a good profile with them with each unclaimed year..
Also, Acko's Proposal wasn't very convincing to me, I read up a lot about it on Twitter,
Searched 'Acko Health Insurance'
2 things are sure, They are very new, Very uncertain about their experience since there is almost nil feedback from customers!
In case of health, I think its important to go with trusted and established, I think
(However, Their Vehicle insurance has some good feedback though)
Overall, I considered these factors for sticking with Existing provider,
Plus, I bought plan via PaisaBazaar which accepts AmazonPay as Payment,
So ended up saving 5% on that...
Also, pb also gives a relationship manager for your policy...Sounds good for me...
Honestly if you are considering new policy - I'd really ask you to consider providers like HDFC, Niva Bupa etc...

Take health insurance like national ,United, etc...not.from.private players..these govt insurance companies will give you less amount of coverage but atleast don't reject claims without any solid reason
