Hi there, I have to make a 1 Lakh security deposit somewhere which might be refunded later on.
Accepted payment methods are Cards and NetBanking.
So I was thinking which method would be more beneficial/robust for making a large transaction like that and then later on for reversal/refund of it, if situation arises.
Thanks in advance.

Private bank with netbanking is the most viable option (RTGS, IMPS or NEFT)
Pay through a credit card if rhats accepted. Might help you in disputing transaction if a need comes
you can also dispute debit card transactions.
if cc is used and if the deposit is reversed after the billing period, then he has to pay that 1 lkh to settle the bill
Not giving any suggestion on how to make thr transaction.
This sounds like a shady transaction, in which you are apprehensive. If it is so then dont get into it. There are many schemes that promise income but initial deposit is required (refundable), later there is no income and even deposit is gone.
In case all is well with the transaction then ignore my comment.
@InvestPotato thanks bro, was thinking of going via Netbanking myself.
@niggabecool @jainashish85 No issue of any disputes. It’s a transaction to govt. institution (govt. university). They will refund the money if I don’t take admission.
Thanks to all and Kg+ to all.
I hope HDFC Netbanking will work as I read in news, some users are facing issues.
Govt transaction hai to jo wo bole kar do.
Do whatever way they suggest.
Congratulations. Hope you get the college you like
@niggabecool thanks bro.

Actually it’s for my younger sister, but for the sake of simplicity, I just wrote if I don’t take the admission.
Any of them but prefer to use private bank for fast refund
