Hotel/Accommodation suggestion near CMC Vellore

My mother and I will be going to CMC Vellore in the month of July for medical treatment of my mother.(
There maybe many dimers who have experience of staying there for their or their loved one’s treatment.
Or are maybe from adjacent area.
Any suggestion/particular recommendation about accommodation will be really helpful.
PS: Kitchen facility is not required, hotels a bit far from the cmc campus is preferred, can commute via auto. Looking for economic but clean stay.
And any recommendation for lite food near the place? (Restaurant suggestion?)

She has some gynaecologic issues. (Ovarian and uterian cyst)
She’s fine but to rule out any future complications going there.

offline there are many available and that too cheaper , go and rent them directly .. all accommodations are nearby CMC campus only .. minor auto travel .
Booked this via goibibo (as was getting at 800 per night ) for 3 nights.

Planning to settle down a bit then will search in person for an economic yet clean accommodation.
The hotel is 2.5 kms away from cmc. (Which I actually prefer) and well connected.
Am i doing it right? Or you/anyone has some other take on this approach? I mean any suggestion?
Food isn’t such a problem in Vellore as it relies a lot on pan-India student crowd + patients. You get all sorts of food in all budgets.
Also, the place around CMC isn’t shabby as you expect it to be.
Will have to see then in person….If it will suit my mother or not.
