Hi,

I have a 16 year old 1.5 Tonn Window AC of Electrolux. Which has a very good cooling capacity, never refilled gas, still it's working fine. Because the rats got repaired 3 times last year,  also changed the capacitor.

I am thinking of replacing it with a new 1.5T window non-inverter AC for the guestroom. Room is 180 Sq Feet and facing the back side and no contact  with direct sun rays.

But first I want to know how much power consumption (wattage+ampere) takes a non-inverter window and split AC ?

Current power consumption of my old AC is - (on wipro smart plug) ----

Normal to Turbo Mode: 1500-2000 watt, 7-9Ampere
Fan Mode: 190 Watt , 0.8 Ampere

It should be around 1100-1300 watt peak power for current 3-5 start rating ac.

my 1 Ton LG 6 Sence 5 star ac consumes 1100w on peak 1.2 Ton mode

and in power saving around 300W Really my old water cooler consumes 280W in full speed

If u have Budget Go for 5 Star Split Ac they are more energy efficient
