I just received my hdfc millenia credit card with some papers and a charges booklet, however nowhere it was mentioned like : joining charges. NIL, annual charges: NIL. But while applying for the card during the call they had told "Lifetime Free"
so i'm just curious weather they fooled me
Also i haven't received any mail
but on my axis credit card letter it was mentioned: joining charges. NIL, annual charges: NIL.

I was also told it's lifetime free. Later i got to know it is conditional lifetime free, annual fee waived on the expenditure of a given amount 1 lac/ 2 lac.

This card is conditional Lifetime Free (If you have added autopay for any bill payment or minimum Transaction of 1 lakh in 3 months) and also if you have bought card before March So it is lifetime free if you add on someone in that card (basically add-on card).

Never rely on calls
HDFC cards are typically conditionally LTF. It could be through autopay setup, one-time spend requirement etc. LTF without any condition is very rare for HDFC.

For reference, I had a spend based condition to convert my Millenia to LTF. The month I achieved the spends, I noticed an entry in the reward points section of the statement which indicates my CC was converted to LTF.

For reference, I had a spend based condition to convert my Millenia to LTF. The month I achieved the spends, I noticed an entry in the reward points section of the statement which indicates my CC was converted to LTF.
