Today I registered for UPI on IDFC First app
I did a transaction and it was successful now I tried adding beneficiary to complete fund transfer task !
As soon as I submit the otp at add beneficiary page the UPI transaction I did earlier starts repeating each time I enter the otp.
I am seriously shocked how is it possible a upi transaction is initiated on it’s own
Have a look at below pictures for better understanding : 
Here you can see at 11:31 I received a mail that request is for adding beneficiary and as I entered the otp the same 2400/- transaction repeated instead of add beneficiary !
And I have never seen a UPI transaction processing without even asking for UPI pin ,just a otp on Mobile and upi transaction is done !! 
Moreover I tried calling the given customer support number it never connects for me.

Bro I already did UPI transaction , after that I tried to add beneficiary for normal fund transfer (not for upi money transfer)
There is a term pre approved upi transaction. It happens when you are using banks own app for upi transaction in such cases many bank even don’t ask for upi pin or not even otp for the transaction.
Thanks I was unaware of this 
UPI has lead to more scams than convenience, simple IMPS/NEFT was anyway working
adding beneficiary to complete fund transfer task ?
I think UPI dnt need to add beneficiary for UPI transaction.
by the way SBI also allowed otp based UPI transaction.
