Probably from from 1 May 2021

No more 6% interest rate.
They are back to normal now.

I think keeping just 25k in IDFC account is still profitable due to the free Rs 250 BMS voucher/movie every month. Anyway, how is AU Bank and also their Royal Program?

So, you guys are closing the account just because they reduced the interest rate ? Crazy people ! No bank can survive with such high interest. They have lowered down the interest on loans also. And they are still one of the highest paying interest banks . For me, I still love this bank. Good relationship manager on Whatsapp and their mobile app is best. I hate HDFC Bank mobile app. I am still going to keep IDFC as my primary Bank Account, no matter how much they reduce their interest rates.
