I currently have IDFC First Bank 10k Savings A/C as 0 balance account.

- What's the criteria to be upgraded to Select/Wealth banking?
- Will I be downgraded later on for not maintaining the required MAB?
- Best possible utilization of Select/Wealth debit card reward points?

I'm thinking of parking some liquid fund in IDFC First Bank Savings A/C in order to trigger the upgrade which I've kept in Bandhan Bank Savings A/C at the moment.

once u r upgraded to select/wealth/private then account becomes zero bal. and u can also link ut family members account as well as zero bal.
but u have to maintain 3/10/25 lakhs respectively for 3 months.

That's incorrect. 25k mab account if upgraded to the wealth account still needs to maintain 25k mab to avoid charges. The decision to degrade the account to select or normal account is with the bank but never heard anyones account degraded till now

For select MAB = 25 k

For wealth you will have to park 10 L in your account for min 3 months then request RM to upgrade..

While select will penalize you for not maintaining MAB wealth doesn't, but the base MAB like 10/25k has to be maintained
