induction cooktop and cooker buying tips
i was trying to buy induction cooktop and cooker and almost scared at looking at most of the reviews out at flipkart and amazon.
one amazon review states that the philips induction stove got blasted with fire and cooker reviews too equally bad be in any brand
so my question which induction cooktop brand is good and is it good to buy from online as the offline bought items are so safe.
Bought one butterfly induction oflline in 2011 and still working fine.
is there any hack need to be done to do use induction stove as i saw prestige induction are failed within 3 months in most of the reviews like using it with a plug with fuse or multipin travel adapter with fuse.
if u have encountered any issue buying online pls let me know i would buy offline.
the only thing i prefer online is for the discounts and being kitchen items i prefer it to be safe.
how are your experiences with induction cooktop bought online for more than a year
@bumblefoot pls dont promote online products which is tending to be fake even from amazon or promote only a product with more good reviews and less bad reviews

Similarly I am using the simple prestige one from 2-3 years. No problems yet.
Now-a-days I’ve seen a few people buying Stainless steel Pressure Cookers which costs 3X but I think is really worth.
Any good deals for cooker and cooktop?
Bought Phillips HD4928/01 for Rs. 2115
There’s no general consensus on a good company for certain products anymore. Because they are all here to make profit in the dirtiest way possible thus not giving a shite about the main thing, Quality Control of products.
We have been using a prestige induction for nearly 5 years now, paid like 2k back then and since then paid over 1k for repairs only. I thought of throwing it out many times but the prestige repair guy keeps telling me to not purchase new products as they are inferior to old ones, now imagine that. Lol.
There no definite answer to this, I think. Just because one customer reported it got busted doesn’t mean all of there units will gonna do the same. A few products may be defective that’s why they give warrenty. And I believe in philips, means quality.
Once my mom used to scare of lpg, what if that cylinder get busted, what if all of our family members gone to see God, now she only uses lpg and similar story for Water heater.
So you need something, go for it. The only thing I feel uncomfortable purchasing online is damage in transit. And remember people definitely give negative review if they faced any issues, and only few give positive review because they all don’t actually faced any issues
Its difficult to get positive thinking.. but you have got it. (From the part of analysing comments, i came to know about it)
Keep continuing it

How many watts of induction cooker should one aim for? Also do we need to buy new stainless steel untensil set for this? And lastly is the tavva, to make rotis, also available in stainless steel sets.
