Hello Dimers,
We are happy to announce that we will be making live our Newest Android App 2.2 which is completely done using the concept of Material Deisgn and also has a much more richer feature set compared to existing Android App…
If you would like to try out the new app, Simply Join the Google+ Testing Community and the app will be available to you on play store in a day or two:

The app will be available on Play Store on or after 10th November 2015 to Beta Testers.
Once your request is accepted for Google Community, Go to link below and click on “Become a tester”

@admin @Nigel am unable to quote and respond to a post with the newer version of beta app
The app is really bad.
After a certain time, I’m unable to create a post or comment anywhere.
I’m even unable to Vote, suggest or give karma.
Then I have to clear data of the app amd it all starts working fine again.
After a day, it all stops working again then I need to clear the data and all over again.
Not at all good color is very bright not good for eyes not at all deleted it and back with old app its much better

very bad experience after using this ..without login its working f9 bt after login its suxx n notification having lots of bugs

Yup. Even I wanted to comment on this – its too heavy on data. Not very efficient (and hence expensive) unless you are on a freeish high-speed data/wifi network
I want say that look wise its gud but
whenever any notification comes then I m not able to it as read…
@@@admin@@ When desidime IOS app will be developed.. it has lot of bugs and many improvements are required in IOS app….
Android people are getting updates and what about IOS people…????

@admin @Nigel @anthrax.ut from last 2-3 days I am not getting any notifications/alerts for tags/likes/messages(v. imp) in app…
Yesterday night it did flood all the alerts/notifs. together and was working fine for few mins…. but now its dead again….
Is there any technical issue going on or its just me?
I have tried a clean install of DD app…. still its not working….
UPDATE: Working fine now….
admin team kudos for the new inapp chat support… was waiting for this for a long time

Try out doing instant Chat with Dimers from the app. Also many performance Fixes around Forums have been rolled out which we hope would make the browsing experience far better.

My desktop chat is not working from past 2 months please fix that.
My 2 cents :
1. On Vote down, please give summary of reasons with no.of votes so as to make OP understand the reasoning
OP keep fuming over who voted down & for what reason…at least reasoning can be shared else what’s the purpose of asking for a reason
2. Please show no. of Vote Up / Down as after 5 likes count goes & only tomatoes appear
3. On Front page of App original name of OP (Top 5 liked latest deals) appear…on clicking & going to page current / changed name appear…I believe the current name only appear everywhere
4. If name is changed & I go to my profile my google+ photo & original name appears though I may have selected some other name or DP
5. When search something & try to share the link, many times actual link does not come & only generic forum link comes so unable to redirect to desired path
6. Please display FPD sign in searched results
7. Please provide option to clear chat history,..you have all the records at back end, atleast to clear clogged chat box from front end it is required
8. Please bring Dost & Dimes just below Hot Deals as I see that is the section much with more activity then other forums
Also merge Hot Deals in Store with some section as that is becoming redundant & going unnoticed
9. Please bring EDIT option in App
10. Make Tagging easy in App
