The IPL auctions for players will be held in Bengaluru over the weekend, on 12th and 13th Feb 2022.
The big players will be auctions on day 1 while the second day will consist of newer talents and a the unsold players from day 1.
The auction will be telecasted on Star Sports and Disney+Hotstar, and will start around 10 am IST. What makes this years IPL exciting is that there are 2 more teams added to the league. This includes teams from Ahmedabad and Lucknow. The Ahmedabad team will be led by Hardik Pandya and will be called the Ahmedabad Titans. Lucknow has picked up KL Rahul to lead them- their team name is Lucknow Super Giants.
In the pre-auction stages, all teams had retained and released the players as per their liking and strategies. Yuzi Chahal – 2cr – rcb boy

Amit Mishra next – 39 yrs old for 3 year contract…

auction now has a 20 min break…
live again – uncapped players batsmen
priyam garg – 20l – srh
Uncapped players are exciting – lots of good performers. Known performers like Shahrukh Khan & many others who aren’t well known – It depends on how good the domestic scouts of franchise are..
Chennai used to be good at this – but this time seems to have lost their touch
Abhinav Sadarangani base price 20l – Karnataka player – 2.6cr to Gujarat
dewald ‘baby AB’ brevis - 3cr to Mumbai
ashwin hebbar – dc – 20l
riyan parag – 40l base price – RR. – 3.8cr

Rahul Tewatia sold to Gujarat Titans for 9 crore
Shahbaz Ahmed goes to RCB for 2.4 crore.
live again – uncapped players – wicketkeepers

Jitesh Sharma - 20 lakh – Punjab
Mumbai trying to go all in -
last set – uncapped spinners
M. Ashwin – base price 20l – sold to MI – 80l 1 MI for 1.6cr
Nita Ambani was seen celebrating 😂
I think RCB is the weakest of all the teams.
not that bad -
Faf du Plessis, Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell, Anuj Rawat, Dinesh Karthik, Shahbaz Ahmed, Wanindu Hasaranga, Harshal Patel, Josh Hazlewood, Mohammed Siraj, Akash Deep [Players bought: 11. Budget remaining: 9.25 crore. Overseas players: 4]
Delhi is being silly suddenly – trying to add more spinners, when they should be focusing on saving funds to invest in middle order batsmen and specialist Indian fast bowlers (like: Avesh)
