Latest update on CNBC: SEBI ordered MultiCap funds need to have at least 25% in MidCap and smallCaps each!
What is MidCap and SmallCap 
All companies in stock market are ranked based on their value so basically Large cap is rank 1-100, mid cap is rank 101-250 & all companies with rank after 250 are small cap.

IMO, don’t need to wait for IPOs, it was awesome before where you could get shares at Face value or floor price, now they come at Market price and there have been a lot of disasters in the past. If you want to invest, wait for it to hit the market and then buy, my perception, 80% of times you will get it for cheaper price compared to IPO price band.
