Is Bollywood Loosing Its Charm/Popularity? Will You Spend On Cinema Hall Even After Covid Related Restrictions Are Lifted?
i guess, too many of us must be habitual of watching movies on regular basis.
But, this time it would be a long break.
So what do you think, Will You Spend On Cinema Hall During 2021, Even After Covid Related Restrictions Are Lifted?

Why not bro ? The management will be ready to tackle this situation or else they very well know it would harm their own business
Single logoka yehi hai kaam akele movie dekne jao. Provided I find some good movie at steal price I’ll opt for it or else would online jindabad.
once i got d taste of hollywood movies n web series…every minute i watch bollywood movies feels wasted…same old love story crap except movies bahubali..
I have stopped going to theatres years back(visit is restricted to 1s or 2wice a year ), last watched theatre movie was End Game
This is due to many factors
1. Most movies have pathetic contents (+ having 6 year old Kid we are restricted to what movies to watch )
2. 1K minimum spending for a family movie…( In same budget I can actually go for nice 100KM drive and outing- expensive food)
3. Have been prefering OOT apps for movies and series watching
Post COVID..I don’t see any change for myself.
uday kiran ke halat & suicide ki kabhar pata chelne ke baad, movies dekhna kam ho gaya
5+ yrs ho gaya
jo bahut hard work karthe hai, unko chance nahi mil raha hai
don’t know about bollywood
Sometimes I wish if I had the money, I would buy all of the bollywood and close it but then I think one shouldn’t discriminate against disabled people.
PS: Sorry if offensive.
This one seat gap had surely close my cinema going
bollywood is not producing any worthy content, right now people are happy with OTT content.
OTT is also under govt now so the future of entertainment is quite dark in India
From sometime iam not seeing any nice bollywood movie , so iam not sure about future .
But yes one thing for sure OTT is growing at a faster pace and some of the content on Disney , prime and netflix is top notch ,, forget altBalaji and Ullu shit
ur inputs pls

Movie theatres are timepass , i only go there if some get together with friends is planned (and in such cases, the movies we watch dont really matter)
Last movie in theater was endgame for me , and last bollywood movie was dangal (went with family at that time)
So nothing changes for me , during or after the lockdown
Movies yes, but bollywood no, coz the content is not that worth. Even if it’s worth, I need to think several times if I’m funding any mafia indirectly.
But in any case post covid, no theatres atleast for 3 years as there is an infant now.
My wife stopped going to hollywood movies with me years back after I slept through a SRK movie. My daughter prefers Hollywood movies. In last few years, I have gone only a few times, mostly for regional serious movies. So did not miss much in last 6-7 months.
I usually don’t watch movies but whenever i watch I watch at home and pause whenever I need to go to toilet or go for any other necessary work
Last SHITTYwood movie that I watched was about 15-16 years ago. Don’t give a dang about them.
Compare all the movies that they produce in a year with a movie like Tenet and you will never waste your time again.
Bollywood produce a lot of good movies, a lot of hidden gems. Of course not as good as other industries but it can’t be called Shittywood.
It depend on movie does not matter covid vovid jo hona h ho kr rhega .
I love movie/webseries in which there is a good story and logic.
Acting is secondary for me.
now a days i m watching scam 1992
Days ?
I completed that in under half a day
Even before Corona I only used to watch few major & good Hollywood releases in multiplex & waiting for this corona situation to resolve before doing the same again.
After OTT platforms I usually go to movies when my friends/family force. Most of time i just scroll Netflix, read the description, check IMDb rating and start the movie. Other time torrents :p
If there’s any offer on Hollywood movies then surely will go. Or friends making plans of movie.
But with one seat gap chances are minimum.
Most of the good movies don’t reach theaters. (Select regional screening etc etc)
Losing? lost
But hopefully will get any decent movie once a year
I am not interested in bollywood movies, so NO from my side.
I think cinema halls may have to hike ticket pricing, for survival
kya hoga local for vocal ka
now… I prefer Web Series
In my whole life i have seen somw 4-5 bollywood movies max in theaters and that too due to peer pressure.
While Hollywood would be some 10 all on my own will.
So yes i left bollywood way ago and would like to stay away from it only
Bollywood already run away while country facing pandemic.
Bhagode h sab
Saw this thread today since less active nowadays, big NO from me to bollywood, because its a big pothole full of as****es. Better to watch them on torrent. Do not waste the hard earned money on them. Better to watch regional movies which has very good content.
Bollywood is TRASH except few great actors and their movies.
I am not interested in Bollywood movies. So, no.
But I will go to theaters for Sandalwood and Hollywood movies which I really wanna watch provided corona vaccine is widely available by then.
