Heard that this film have recieved a lot of good reviews from kannada audience and is doing extremely well over their. Now they have decided it to dub it in hindi, Malyalam and Telugu and release it in theatre on 14th October . It has IMDB Rating of 9.8 .I am looking forward to watch this in theatre. I am happy that indian cinema is trying something new and are not trying to copy hollywood.

Watch the masterpiece ONLY in theatre to feel the visuals, BGM, cinematography, songs, and last Rishab Acting top class, he killed it... story is related to forest, culture, etc nothing related to political, go and watch it..

Kantara is just brilliant. Watched it today on a Monday and the theater was packed. Rishabh Shetty deserves many awards for this movie. The movie is playing with English subs everywhere and is being released in other local languages like Hindi this week.

Watched both, quite ordinary
Doctor G is standard AK movie, nothing more, nothing less. That mix used to feel good earlier, but not now. I didn't like any of his movies after Badhaai ho. The budgets have increased and quality has taken a fall.
Kantara had no once in a decade feel, maybe the kannada audience is liking it due to dialogues or music or relatability (which i can't account since I watched in Hindi).
Its not a bad movie, but didn't feel anything new as well.
Would suggest people to save money and spend time elsewhere.
Note - If anyone feels I am biased towards any language / industry, I don't remember the last movie I liked that released recently (either in Hollywood or Bollywood or out of the select dubbed movies I watched). Watched Helen day before yesterday (after that Mili post) and really liked that.
