Needed a laptop for my cousinās business.
Requirements : tally, office, browsing, minor photoshop patch-ups,Soft AutoCAD file openings.
DOS can also work,battery life/ heavy weight is not an issue as it will not travel much
Storage : minimum space possible [ 256ssd+1TB / 512ssd / 1TB+120ssd(aftermarket) ]
Budget : up to 60k (including extended 3-year accidental onsite warranty).
he can arrange most DC/CC from most of the banks.
itās a business purchase hence GST invoice is a must.
Service reliability is a priority, hence looking for dell/hp/Lenovo.
If anyone has any idea then please do needful, want to make the purchase within this week.

Drop any model without āHā version processor(intel or amd), drop any dell model as currently no good dell models with āHā version processor(in intel as well as amd).

Extended waranty is a waste. If youāre careful with your gadgets and have not claimed warranty in the past you should be ok.
I am not suggesting any laptop. But I can maybe point out deficiencies if any if a curated selection is presented. I really dislike laptops. Plus to my knowledge barring one fellow no one has ever followed my suggestion!

Personally i am the only person in my batch who works primarily in desktop. I fried my 1 year in laptop heatings, now enjoying a cpu with 2 external fans in open chases.
Dell from personal exp they have good built quality and robust software support also avoid sonu
As per your workflow, you would need a Dedicated GPU.

I had this in mind but op mentioned he needed another 1TB storage and budget around 60k. Also, feel ryzen 5 is better than i5 for autocad and photoshop. Better processing speeds and extra cores are helpful.

More than capable to fulfill all your cousinās needs (There is also an i5 10/11th gen version for ~10% price difference)
Also Avoid Extended warranty unless the laptop is gonna stay ON for most of the day ( + high temps) & if he doesnāt have any plans to resell it (Extended warranty fetches better price in such cases)
He can opt for a laptop that has many cooling vents + a dedicated graphics card (1650/2060) but i donāt think thereās any need here

My old Core2Duo HP Pavillion (25W C2D P7350 & Nvidia 9600M GT) was intensively used for gaming for nearly 3 years. CPU and GPU temps. peaking in the high nineties yet no thermal throttling. Gaming sessions regularly lasted anywhere from 2-5 hours. I stumbled upon undervolting much later. By then I was playing mostly indie games which were much less taxing. The laptop continued to be in service for an additional 5 years. In the last 2 years another strenuous task was dealing with 10-bit low-medium H.265 videos(movies mainly) . 95-100% CPU usage all the time but quite a few frame drops. Only broken hinges (and lack of affordable replacement parts) could put it out of commission.
