For the first time in this month, Sbi categorised my gv purchase made on 18 May on paytm under MCC 5947 (Gifts). I'm afraid we cannot use paytm now for gv purchases with this card.

I don't think it is a random logic. Atleast in my account I was able to notice that they allowed a maximum purchase of 30k in a 30 day period, 40k in a 60 day period and 50k in a 90 day period. You have to serve the cooling period before credit card option becomes enabled again for AGV purchase. And do remember these limits are applicable to Gift Card purchases made using the same credit card, Amazon account or mobile number.
So you will not be able to use the same credit card in another Amazon account too. If you try to add the same credit card in another Amazon account, then it disables credit card purchase option for that account too (unless that card is removed from that Amazon account).

which makes this card useless for paying 999 annual fee.
Unless someone do various research and uses it monthly with all precautions. and still as bank/sites can change the MCC code. so there is NO guarantee till when the last research will work.

My planning is to CLOSE this card before 1 years completes OR any changes in the Policy/LTF. Though its personal for everyone.
