I don't know what's the issue with sbi with its customers buying a gift card ...we are paying for that gift card also..it's not free as if sbi is treating it..

which makes this card useless for paying 999 annual fee.
Unless someone do various research and uses it monthly with all precautions. and still as bank/sites can change the MCC code. so there is NO guarantee till when the last research will work.

My planning is to CLOSE this card before 1 years completes OR any changes in the Policy/LTF. Though its personal for everyone.
