Ive been watching out for silverline since many days. Daily it says these Many sold. Looks like some plugin which is giving fake numbers. Ill check again.

Had ordered 4gb frm them. Normal pi. But had to cancel because traveled on an urgency.

Interesting, what is your usecase or is it just for playing around with?

Curious why specifically the compute module n not a normal pi 4b?

Planning to do either of these.

Pihole with vpn,

Or run multiple websites.

Options in mind:

Nas, movie streaming, etc

Compute model is versatile with multiple i/o boards.

There is a waveshare module which supports m.2 with 4g/5g support, or the normal pi i/o with usb 2,but has pci-e slot.

Haven’t decided what load ill be giving, but my existing pi48gb is under utilized. I’m not happy with plex the way it streams over internet. It’s not the internet speed which is causing it, probably the transcoder.

Guys i had bought Raspberry pi 4 just out of curiosity. I am CA by profession and not an engineer having specific interest around computers. Can you guide me the best use of Raspberry pi for normal users?

I had thought to use it as portable computer (buying wireless keyboard and mouse) with monitor being my TV. But it’s too slow and have ended being in my cupboard since a year.

I already have firestick and a pendrive slot in TV for streaming the movies. NAS was also a good option but i dont see usb plug in wifi so don’t wanna spend more on new wifi.

Can you guys suggest a good website as well to learn more on Raspberry pi coding/ modules.

Google and check what all can be done with a raspberry pi.
To start with you can
1 use as an os
2 use it as a nas box. Install open media vault.
3 install plex in a container with step 2 above, and create ur own catalog.
4 install pihole to blocks ads and install pipvn to connect to ur own vpn from outside home.

Find something interesting and join the respective community.

You can also find many raspberry groups in fb which will give more ideas about pi projects.
